| Bottlenose Dolphins (Tursiops truncatus ponticus) live in the Black Sea and are often seen in Istanbul as they swim up and down the Bosporus. The population of this distinctive species of dolphin is currently threatened due to pollution, over-fishing, sea traffic and poaching. |
