Circeo
Circeo, officially known as San Felice Circeo, is a town in the Latina province in the region of Lazio.
The city takes its name from a 4th century martyr, Saint Felice who was of North African ancestry and was
martyred in the year 303 AD in Milan under the persecution of the Roman Emperor Diocletian. Today Circeo is
home to a national park, which includes Monte Circeo and protects a long and beautiful sandy coastline.
